DAYS BEFORE: When should i get (insert beauty service) done ? before or after my tan ? A spray tan should be your very last step of your beauty routine ! all services should be done 4-12 hours before your spray tan appointment. AVOID DOVE SOAP !!! (olay, caress, irish spring, etc) It could create a layer of film on your skin that will block the spray tan from properly developing. EXFOLIATE ! ! ! This is key to the perfect tan. By exfoliating you are turning your skin into a clean slate. Use a scrub, glove, or drybrush. ​ You could find all recommended products on our amazon storefront. Day of your Tan: Rinse & Avoid using any lotions, oils, makeup, deodorant, or perfume. If you got a beauty treatment same day as your appointment, make sure you have time to get home and rinse any oils, lotions, etc. off ! Wear dark, loose clothing to avoid smudging or rubbing your tan with any tight clothing. - no sports bras, leggings, jeans, or tight bodysuits should be worn right after your tans.

Day of the Tan: Avoid water until your initial rinse ! Times vary - contact MSK if unsure of your rinse time. First shower should only be a rinse. avoid soaps and oils because they could causing steaks & stripping. do not use a loofah or scrub until youre ready for the tan to come off. MOISTURIZE !!! This is the main way to increase the longevity of your spray tan. You could find all recommended products on our amazon storefront. Days After Tan: Avoid exfoliation until you are ready to get rid of your tan Avoid products that can strip your tan and include parabens & mineral oils. In skincare some common stripping agents are: retinol, BHAs, AHAs, Fragrances, & oils. Keep your skin hydrated by drinking water & moisturizing after every shower. If you want the tan to last a bit longer then moisturize even more.

All our solutions are naturally derived and we have state of the art ventilation & extraction systems. MSK Requires a credit card when booking your appointment through our booking site. If there is a no-show, you will be charged 100% of the missed appointment. If you cancel without a 48 hour notice, you will be charged 50% of the appointment. You may reschedule all appointments to avoid the 50% missed appointment charge. Our time is very valuable, so please be considerate when booking or cancelling.
